Mostafa continues to keep me up on his writings. His English is much
improved over early efforts. It is interesting to read his
observations, as an Egyptian and as a Muslim. Below is the reply I'd
sent after reading his last post.

Mostafa,
Having been born in Spokane, Washington, I am a citizen of the United
States of America. But I do not subscribe to the Corporate American
Empire that currently rules this nation. Perhaps it would be better
to say that it currently hold the nation captive. The babbling of
those people wanting to play at being President, is inconsequential.
The Military/Industrial Complex will bend any elected official to do
their bidding. But just as in your nation, there is uprising beneath
the surface. The USA is like a huge pot of boiling water. The Ruling
Class is doing all they can to keep a lid on the pot, but it will only
be a matter of time until the lid blows off.
Ruling Classes, the world around, never realize until too late, that
they have gone too far.
And remember, way back when Egypt was the great power in the world,
that Ruling Class was just as cruel and heartless with its masses as
are the current Masters. From the Roman Empire to the British Empire,
to the American Empire, and waiting in the wings is the Chinese
Empire, all Ruling Classes can be seen in the same light, cruel and
oppressive. Greed drives them all. Greed is the opposite of Love.
We have a common opponent it is Greed. Rather than pointing the blame
at one people or another, we need to join together and raise up a
People's World Government that respects all life and all people. But
we can't seem to get past bickering over whose God is the real God, or
if there is a God or not. We can't see past the color of another
person's skin. We find each others custom as "different", or
offensive.
Meanwhile our Masters are leading us toward the brink of destruction.
If we can't resolve our differences and strike down our oppressors,
all those little differences will matter not in the slightest.

American people are about to distrust you.
You should stop deliberately denigrating each other on purpose.
Your strident remarks against each other have gained international rate.
Here is the big problem, you are inadequate to decisively substantiate
reliability because you are focused on denouncing each other in person.
Trust is never gifted, it's rather earned.
Either republicans or democrats, be more mature and wiser.
I am not one of those who find something precious in typical American
lifestyle.
Your bureaucratic manner is perfectly repudiated.
You are eminently contributing to the grave dissension of your nation.
Your broadcasted heat clashing debates are wretched in the slightest.
Stop building special interest and focus on U.S interest.
Your country is disposed, your on the edge of terrific economic collapse,
so
be careful.
History proves that arrogant empires never last and you are not excluded.
To reach mutual interests and common ground is the major challenge facing
all of you.
U.S reputation is undeferential, people are disinclined to tolerate your
persistently jeopardizing temperament.
