Thanks for keeping us informed, Roger. Some of us actually believe
that at the other end of email posts there are real people. I was
really ticked off when I could not get any information about Bob
Hachey, until Deb Lewis announced that ACB was pulling the plug on
their chat list, due in part to the death of Bob.
Still, I count myself fortunate to know some of the folks I've met
on-line, and for a place I can sort out my own thoughts during these
last days of American democracy. I expect that if Donald Trump wins,
or steals the presidential election, lists such as this one will be
labeled as Leftist Propaganda, and will be forced to shut down. This
election will produce no winners, only losers. Whichever Party seizes
the White House will be faced with the chaos created by Donald Trump.
The USA will look very much like the Trump Taj Mahal casino/resort, a
once magnificent establishment rotting and crumbling in its own stink.
Remember King Midas, who turned everything he touched into gold?
Emperor Donald Trump will go down in history as the man who turned
everything he touched into a brown goo that smelled just like s**t.
And now my little children, it is no longer a beautiful day in the
neighborhood...except the one behind the high iron gates.

Just letting you guys know that I've been a bit sick. On Tuesday I got a
flu shot. I get one every year, but this time I got the extra strong
dose for people over the age of sixty-five. The next day I felt
completely blah. I was running a temperature, but only slightly above
normal. Food has had no appeal for me, but I have been forcing myself to
eat. My blood sugars have been running high despite the fact that I
haven't been eating as much. My sleep patterns have been disrupted. That
is, I have been sleeping in the afternoons, but at night after I go to
bed I sleep a couple of hours and then stay awake for about three hours.
I can't help thinking that the extra strong flu vaccination is the
guilty party in this. I am now about to read email for the first time
since Tuesday and I see that it has really piled up. It's just that
reading email is not at the top of my priority list and I have been so
slow doing everything else that I haven't gotten to email. I'm still not
over whatever this is and I don't think I will get through all the email
in this sitting, but I am letting you know in case You wondered what
happened to me. You may not have noticed, though, because I have
continued to post articles.
