Just to be clear I will run a quick disclaimer.
I am currently not a Christian, nor am I a Believer in any known
Faith. In my past I have been a token Christian as well as spending
about ten years as a Born Again, Baptised in the Holy Spirit
Christian, speaking in tongues and Seer of Visions(2).
Having said that, I firmly believe that our human troubles are
connected to our inability to face reality. We will continue to have
troubles until we come to accept that we and we alone are responsible
for our destiny. There is no Great Power guiding us. Only a vast,
complex thing we call the Universe.
The Universe is an unfeeling place, doing what it does with no
awareness of how that impacts life on Earth.
But we Humans impact life on Earth. And if we do not get serious
soon, we run the risk of ending most life on this little planet.
The most frustrating thing is that we can't get past the comfort of
our Fairy Tales, and get serious about controlling our future.
