It would have worked a little better if the woman could actually run
through the list before she began laughing so hard that her words
became unclear.
I've heard it done before, but by an old comic whose name has fallen
out of my head.
Spike Jones had a "Laughing Record" years ago. The fellow begins
playing the Flight of the Bumble Bee. He sneezes...I think...and then
tries again. Then he laughs and then tries playing. And so it goes
until he can't finish one note. I was about ten and it was funny
then...hmm...think I'll google it and see if it's still around...and
if it's still funny.
