Sometimes his disruptiveness is very socially useful like when he puts

a discussion, Assange also timed his publication of material from the DNC to

when she was Secretary of State. I heard Assange tell Amy Goodman that
there was no difference between Clinton and Trump, that they were equally
evil. In one sense that's true, but in pragmatic terms it is not. I do
believe that he was out to get her. I've gathered, from what I've read about
Assange over the years, that a lot of people find him to be, to put it
mildly, a difficult person. But that may be irrelevant. What is relevant is
that what he has done professionally and publicly has not been
disinteresdedly for the public good. Now I don't know anything about what
Chris Hedges is like as a person. Probably he is also somewhat difficult.
But what he does and says publicly and professionally always does seem to be
in the best interests of other people, not for revenge. His concerns always
appear to be the welfare of most of us. When I listen to Credico and
Bernstein talk about Assange, it does seem to me that they are not
describing him or his work objectively. There is a cult quality to their
communications.

Pardon me if I already commented on this post. I get rushed and my small
gray cells start flopping like fish out of water. Last evening I called
several clients and had them all wondering if either they or I was off the
rocker.
Anyway, while there are many, many great minds to worship, I like to think I
pick and choose thoughts, rather than people. Currently I am a big admirer
of much of the thinking of Chris Hedges. But this does not mean that I
worship the man. Heck, I don't even know if he's left or right handed.
Same with Julian Assange .
But after saying that, I understand that we've been raised to be hero
worshipers, and my weak protests will be like spitting in the wind.
