Hi Miriam,
Weissman is right on target here. Is their a difference between Hillary and
the Republicans? Yes and no.
Yes in that she talks a good game when it comes to domestic policy and seems
to have a greater capacity to care about the working class. But I do believe
she supported Bubba's welfare reform and his NAFTA so she has a tough time
walking her talk.
That capacity to care is much less apparent when it comes to those living in
other nations. That, taken together with her less than direct manner mean
that I can't hold my nose tight enough to give her my vote on election day.
