Hi, fellow MoveOn member!
This is former Labor Secretary Robert Reich.
I've been a MoveOn member for many years. And for nearly 10 years, MoveOn
and I have partnered to create short, compelling videos—most recently on
the importance of Medicare for All, how Donald Trump has betrayed the
working class, and why Republicans have surrendered their constitutional
duty to rein in Trump.
I'm proud to have made these videos with MoveOn. The videos have been seen
hundreds of millions of times and have truly helped progressives shift the
debate—and win—on critical issues.
After years of making videos with MoveOn, I wanted to do even more. Which
is why I decided to launch a new nonprofit—called Inequality Media—to make
more videos, engage the public in more discussions, and have an even
bigger impact.
Thanks to the support of MoveOn members like you, Inequality Media videos
have now been viewed over 450 million times. With nearly 4.7 million
social media followers across Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, we on
average reach over 14 million people a week.
And we've done all that on a shoestring budget, operating with just five
staff members.
With more funds, I'm confident that we can reach many more Americans and
be even more impactful. That's why I'm writing to you today.

At Inequality Media, we strive to create videos with clear, factual, and
