Dear Rodney and Sarah,
I point your attention to the following from my supplemental police report:
“TIME LINE OF EVENTS:
The following is a breakdown of the events which occurred.
On September 11, 2015 F/Lieutenant Boucher received a phone call from Dan
Morgan (517) 285-2010 indicating that about 1,000 persons, most with a
disability, would be in attendance. Morgan indicated he had spoken with a
disgruntled person who planned on protesting at the event. Morgan indicated
the person did not state the protest was violent; “however, had been promoting
this activity on social media.
Now my personal investigation and the public record notes that Mr. Dan Morgan
is the so-called ADA coordinator for the Michigan Department of Technology
Management and Budgett, a public employee of the State of Michigan and a
friend of Mr. Craig.
Now, this call was the pretext for the violation of my and others known
Constitutional rights and, indeed the ADA itself in violating our access to the
“ADA celebration”, free and open to the public put on in part by the SILC as
well as other state agencies and state funded organizations, on the State
Capitol lawn, the most public of public forums on September 17, 2015.
Note as well that there is nothing illegal with protesting in any manner at the
event, and in fact that is the very place designated for leafletting and other
informational protests. Note that even Mr. Morgan denoted that our protest was
totally non-violent.
That said I’m asking under FOIA for any and all e-mails, text messages or logs
of phone calls from either of you to Mr. Morgan.
And, moreover I’m requesting these as a person who is blind under the ADA and
Section 504 in a timely and accessible manner of which you are intimate.
