Subject: RE: [blind-democracy] FW: The Trump Coup to Come
People on the Jaws list seem to be using Chrome, but they have still been
using Internet Explorer when they can. I suppose that , that’s because it’s the
most Jaws friendly browser. I’ve seen mention of something called, “Brave”, I
think. Anyway, when my mind was agile, I was never comfortable with this tech
stuff. Now with an aging mind and some short term memory loss, learning to do
anything new will be very tough.

Personally, I really don't like Chrome, but now that I am using Windows 10 I
decided to grit my teeth and try to get used to Chrome because I cannot
navigate by links in Edge. I have gotten used to navigating around my most
frequently used web sites by pressing the U or V keys. But by just trying out
Edge for a while I realized just how out of date Internet explorer has become.
I was having a number of problems that I thought were in the web sites.
Certain things had stopped working and I thought that the web sites were making
changes that were making my life more difficult. Now I see that it was Internet
Explorer deteriorating after not having been updated for well over two years.
It is clear that it is time for me to give it up. At least with Chrome I can
navigate by links. It still annoys me though.

maybe you’ll do better than I. Someone is setting up a Windows 10 computer for
me and will hopefully, be shipping it to me shortly, and then teaching me how
to use Chrome. But God knows, given my technology disability, how much I’ll be
able to do with it. Support for Windows 7 ended on Monday.
