Am I missing something? Is there a plan to keep broadcasting Donald
Trump's tweets and twitters in the belief that he will begin to emerge
as a different person? A kinder, gentler Leader?
Or are we simply masochists?
Yes, what Donald Trump says, in his job as Leader of the World's most
powerful nation, does carry great weight. But we already knew what
his personal philosophies were. And we know the philosophies of those
whom he has selected to be his Cabinet.
Donald Trump is going forward behaving like the Donald Trump we have
known for years. This is not some TV series where the bad guy
suddenly is kissed by the disabled little girl, and has a "Come to
Jesus" moment. This is Donald Trump, the man in the looking glass,
smiling back and saying, "It's worked for me up until now, so I'm not
changing a thing...besides, I am really the Greatest." If you are in
a hurry and don't have time to tune in today's news, allow me to
summarize it.
Donald Trump is being set upon by the People's Enemy, the Press,
saying that his words were insincere. Later, Donald Trump will Tweet
that he really didn't mean "Black Hands" when some many years ago he
said that "Black hands will not be allowed to count his money",
referring to his ill gotten gains from his Casinos. Trump actually
meant that folks counting his Dirty Money needed to have washed their
hands.
And regarding the Newest Threat to Americans safety, Donald Trump
promises to bomb the Hell out of Venezuela if they don't mind the
invisible CIA intruders.
Finally, the news from North Korea and the White House is noticeable
for its absence.
