And why not start at Z? And tackle something huge and controversial right
away: Zionism.
Everywhere you look, it seems, people who oppose or question Zionism are
being demonized and equated with the worst people in our societies.
For too long, political battles were forged based on misinformation about
Zionism and a failure to grasp its impact on Palestinians. We need simple,
clear ways to talk about what Zionism is and why so many Jewish people are
increasingly opposing it.
So we’re launching this podcast to show something we don’t normally see in
the media – Jewish people reclaiming Judaism from Zionism, building new
institutions, finding ways of being Jewish and (gasp) working in solidarity
with the Palestinian struggle for freedom.
