Let's don't get our facts mixed up with Truth.
I'm listening to a series about the Great Depression, on YouTube.
It's pretty factual. And it's pretty depressing(no pun intended).
I'm almost finished with the book on the Presidential Campaign of 1876
between Tildon and Hayes. Talk about dirty tricks! As I poke around
in our history, looking for those "Great Days", I'm at a loss as to
where they're hiding.
Gads! I just heard the dirty tricks by FDR on Sinclair Lewis, in his
bid to be governor of California. Like Bernie, Sinclair learned the
hard way that you can't declare yourself to be a socialist, and win
the support of the Democrats.
Too bad we'll not see a democracy in our lives.

This morning I heard bits from a speech Donald Trump delivered last night.
In it he declared war on socialism, calling it Evil and Corrupt and
threatening the World Order. This alone ought to alarm all Working Class
Americans. So much of our current life style is due, not to corporate
capitalism, but to the social services which we pay our taxes for. Well,
most of us pay. Amazon, according to today's news, has not paid a single
cent of income tax for the past two years. But here's the stunner, Amazon
has received rebates. How does that work? I'm getting in That Line!
Well, I offer to anyone who wants to use it, my latest bumper sticker/T
shirt slogan.

Global solidarity actions with Venezuela on Saturday, Feb 23 are
increasingly urgent as the U.S. ramps-up its military presence in the
Caribbean and Colombia.

The U.S. has deployed military planes carrying “aid” to Cucuta,
Colombia on the Venezuelan border. The Cuban government warned that
the U.S. military is taking positions in strategic locations
throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The aid is likely a ploy
to cover for smuggling arms into Venezuela, and a tool to provoke
confrontation to justify greater U.S.
intervention - a strategy that mirrors previous U.S. military
interventions in Latin America and across the world.
Opposition leader and U.S. puppet Juan Guaidó has called for a
so-called “humanitarian corridor” to open across the border on
February 23, one month after his failed coup attempt.
His announcement and the U.S. military build-up are warnings of
imminent military action against Venezuela.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced a declaration of a ‘national
emergency’ to move billions in funds and even more U.S. troops to the
U.S./Mexico border to build the racist border wall. U.S. Marines have
also been deployed to Haiti to repress a growing uprising by the Haitian
people.
We say: No U.S. troops on the border with Mexico, in Haiti, or Venezuela!

Richard Branson is organizing for a cynical propaganda spectacle on
the Colombia-Venezuela border this Friday in the form of a concert.

U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton has admitted what U.S.

this is U.S.
intervention for oil. Venezuela's oil belongs to the Venezuelan
people, not U.S. oil companies!
