The Democratic party machine is very powerful and we'll never know precisely
what happened. I thought he would hold out at least until the convention so
he would have more leverage over the platform. And he did keep saying that
he had a better chance to win over Trump. But I knew he wouldn't stand in
the way of Hillary's candidacy, not when he didn't question the way the
California vote was handled. Perhaps, at that point, he knew that he had
absolutely no chance. But he didn't have to endorse her. He didn't have to
make that speech. Well, I guess he did, but we don't know why.

There must be something in the water! I actually thought Bernie was
trustworthy. I donated more money to his campaign then I had ever donated.
