Bob,
I think that Elizabeth Warren has decided that the best service she can
provide to her country is to use her expertise to continue to point out how
financial inequities have been made part of the structure of our society and
to show us potential remedies to this. She knows what the political
realities are and what her capabilities and shortcomings are and she has
steadfastly refused to be pushed into taking a role that she is
uncomfortable with. I respect her for that. I also think that we are seeing
the beginning of a serious fight for the Democratic party. There is a
Progressive wing and a Centrist wing. I suspect that eventually the
Progressive wing will either win or split and join with other Progressive
factions like the Green Party and perhaps something totally new, composed of
people of color, to win back control of our government.

I really do hope that Elizabeth Warren someday becomes our first woman
president. I know that Jill Stein would be better but that will not happen
short of a second American Revolution.
