I never watch these debates. What disturbs me even more, is that Sanders'
staff feels it necessary to counteract, what they feel to be slurs on their
candidate, by the people who say that he is as far left as Jeremy Corbin. If
only that were true. He is not. But the Sanders campaign was quick to
reassure people that Bernie is not in favor of peace or opposed to what
Israel is doing to Palestinians. And why? Because we live in such a
despicable country, that one can't get a large popular vote if one isn't a
war monger and an admirer of despotic regimes. We live in a country where
the Left no longer has mass demonstrations for peace and where only a few
hundred people rally in midtown Manhattan in support of helping some of the
millions of mideastern refugees for whose existence, our country is
responsible. In Europe, thousands rallied. But not here. You saw some of our
worst folks debating last night. However, they have lots of supporters in
this great land of our's. One of the articles that I haven't posted, is by a
historian, reminding us that this country has a tradition of anti immigrant
feeling and he had a whole historical passage on the Know Nothing Party.

I couldn't watch more than 45 minutes of the Haters of Obama and all Working
Class, especially persons of color and pregnant women.
In fifteen minutes I'm going to tune into the Thom Hartman Program on RT.
Hopefully it will help blow the stink out of my brain.
So these 10 men and 1 woman believe they can lead America back to those
Golden Years. And how will they do this leading? If tonight's "debate" is
any precursor, they will do it by bad mouthing all Democrats and labeling
them UnAmerican. They will spit in the eye of any international leader who
does not knuckle under, and they will purge our hallowed halls of congress
of all socialists like that evil Bernie Sanders.
The Golden Rule of these fearless Folk is, "Do Unto Others."
And that, my children is the Golden Rule to live by.
