Consortium News is an excellent alternative new site that was operated by
Bob Perry until he died, unexpectedly, of cancer last year. He was a fine
journalist who worked for main stream media outlets before they became
completely controlled by corporate and government powers. He's the
journalist who broke the Iran Contra scandal. Anyway, the website was taken
over by Joe Loria, another fine journalist. Today, it appears to have been
removed from the web. This morning, the message was, "no certificate" or
some such thing. Tonight, "This page cannot be displayed". I hope that this
is a temporary technical problem. But given the increased censorship of
alternative news sources and the fact that this website has contained pieces
about Julian Assenge, Russiagate, Venezuela, and other controversial
subjects, I tend to become paranoid. The Grayzone Project is still there,
thank God.
