Thanks Dick,
I'm familiar with this conjecture. In fact, it is all very
interesting to me. Not because there is a chance in our current wind
storm that I'll be moved to become a Believer. But I am fascinated
with our ancient roots and how we came to believe what we believe
today. Still, the more I read, the harder it is for me to sit on the
fence, like the old Mug Wump. I find more indication that all of our
Gods are created through our desire to have some strong friend out in
this vast universe. For those who need God, go for it. My hope is
that these folks will understand that my position is as valid as
theirs. And I would say the same to the Atheists. But as I say, it
is spine tickling to let ones mind wander back through the centuries
and piece together bits of our beginnings.
