Usually, when people say that, they have not, in fact, ever lived for a
prolonged time in any other country. Additionally, the experience for some
people who live in this country may be optimal, while for others, it is not
at all. Most people's first-hand experience of other countries is as
tourists and the information they have about them comes from our media. So
they can hardly make objective judgements.
