Wow! This mess is pretty disgusting. Seems today's colleges and universities
are just as bad as the banks. They claim to be in the business of educating
people but looks more like they're in the business of making money. How else
to explain the growing number of adjunct professors taken together with
sky-rocketing tuition and fees for students. Someone is getting all that
money and it aint' the profs. More of the same, more injustice.
I believe it was George Carlin who said that today's education is run by the
ownership club and "you ain't in it." He goes on to say the owners don't
want critical thinkers and problem solvers. They want loyal workers with
just enough knowledge to do the paperwork and run the machines.
