I don't know who corporate America is. I do know that there's a split among the
ruling elites in terms of social values so that some mouth platitudes about
racial harmony and women's rights, while others mouth platitudes about American
values, family values and religious freedom. But in the end, I don't know whom
to trust. Trump was, remember, a member of the Democratic Party. Bloomberg was
a Republican. Hillary Clinton was a Republican before she was a Democrat. For
that matter, sso was Elizabeth Warren. What Amy Goodman did this morning on
Democracy Now when she emphasized the issues, showing where Trump lied and took
far right positions, was to try to normalize the insanity that took [place for
90 minutes last night. The indignity of it is mind boggling. At some points,
Chris Wallace sounded like a kindergarten teacher trying to separate two
squabbling five year olds. Everyone who is being interviewed is clinging to a
pretense that we can treat this as if we have two normal candidates in a real
election and that if we all try hard and do the right thing, we can gain
control of our foundering ship of state. But this is all fantasy. The TV
people and podcasters are just attempting to stem public panic.

After a good night's sleep I'm back to feeling simply morose.
Donald "The All American White Man" Trump, pretender to the presidency, may
have put the skids under his bid for becoming our "Eternal president". The
Boss, Corporate America, does not appreciate having its racist roots exposed.
But four years ago Corporate America backed Donald Trump, one of their own.
The result? Donald Trump has behaved just like a Corporate Czar...like any of
the Billionaire Gang.
It is my opinion(usually wrong)that Corporate America will begin moving its
support to Gentleman Joe Biden, a man they can control, and away from Donald,
the Maverick, shoot from the hip, take no prisoners Trump. Corporate America
has been in business long enough to see what backing Donald Trump could bring
down upon their cushy lives. In declaring to the world that it is all the
fault of the Leftist Democrat Party, and refusing to lay any responsibility at
the feet of his White Racist Buddies, Trump has probably scared the silk undies
off his Bosses.
All of the Billionaires Club are sitting in their club room suddenly saying to
one another, "What hath we wrought?", and, "Remember the Taj Mahal!!!"

Democracy Now was streaming it, but it was too upsetting. The
Democrats could have attempted to win this election by choosing a

disabilities. There is something incredibly corrupt about the mindset of the

As much as I disliked Richard Nixon, he did a far better job of

I came away from 90 minutes of name calling, personal attacks,
interrupting, lying, and avoidance, without having learned a single
new piece of information.

Dismal!
If these are the best that Corporate America can put up, then instead
of an election, we need a reformation.

I tried to listen to the debate just now, for about 6 minutes. I
didn't start right at the beginning, so the first segment was ending
with these two old brain damaged men yelling at each other. The next
segment started and Biden could barely give a coherent response to
the question about how to handle Covid. He began hurling accusations
at Trump, and he couldn't really provide a coherent response. Well,
I shut the thing off. I cannot believe that we have come to this,
that the debates have sunk to this level. I haven't listened to them
for years because they're just a show as far as I'm concerned, not
really debates, and they don't inform me. But never have I been so
ashamed of the candidates, especially the Democratic candidate.
The
fact that the Democrats chose to go with Biden, shows how little
respect they have for their base or for the country. They're saying,
even very smart people whom I respect like Noam Chomsky, that we
need to have a landslide victory for Biden in order to force Trump
out of office. I understand the reasoning, and I know that Trump and
the elites who support him, are more dangerous than Biden and the
elites who support him. And perhaps if I lived in a swing state, I
could vote for Biden and then spend the rest of the day vomiting. I
understand the numbers thing, but I live in New York whose electoral
votes will go to Biden regardless of what I do.
If
I couldn't manage to listen to the debate for more than six minutes,
I may do what I did in 2016 and vote for the Green Party candidate
who doesn't have dimentia, and whose platform is something I can
support.
