Hi Lewis and others,

That rule is not in effect for any blind-chess tournaments and I don't see any
demand at this time to adopt it.

Hi Richard,
I was wondering if the Sunday reflection day of rest rule sttill applies for
the two ongoing tournaments.
Thank you,
Lewis

Subject: [blind-chess] Tournament Rules Additions

Hi All,

This is just a reminder of our general rule that tournament players can request
a reasonable amount of reflection time suspension for a vacation or holiday.
The only restriction is that both the Tournament Director and your opponent be
informed within two weeks of the scheduled absence (this was originally three
weeks, but two seems plenty).

Since many of you have family commitments or are traveling around the end of
the year, you may want to take advantage of the rule.  This will not affect
game start dates, however so be careful.

Another addition to the Fall-Winter Theme Tournament rules.  If both players
want to begin their scheduled game before the official first of each month
starting date, that is permitted.  I mention this because one game in the first
round is already completed and others
