Good Morning Puzzlers,

As usual, Paul provides us with another thoughtful analysis of this problem.
Be sure to look through the extra analysis after the normal analysis to find
Paul's thoughts on that blocked up Pawn chain on the Kingside.

As usual my brief comments follow:

The best move is: 1. Re7

Principle:
White is up two Pawns and so looks for material to exchange:
1. Re7
if 1... Bxe7, the c7 square is unprotected.
2. Qc7#
if 1... Qxd5, removing the troublesome Knight.
2. Qxb7+ Kd8
3. Qd7#
So 1... Qxe7
2. Nxe7 Bxe7, and White wins the exchange (Rook and Knight for Queen)
3. Qb3, threatening Bishop and F-Pawn
