Hi Carol and others,

I did not re-send problem 9, so delivery must be slow on some servers.  I do 
not know the cause of such problems, but I have seen this in the past on other 
lists I belong to.  Probably due to electronic gremlins!

    This problem is from Larry Evans' book "Chess: Beginner to Expert" 
available on tape from your NLS library.  Note the book uses descriptive 
notation not algebraic.
