Hi Rebecca and Chris,

You are quite welcome, but I need to slow down a bit on the problems or this
will become just a job. I am hoping that more discussion will result and
everyone will learn more.

Richard, thank you for all the hard work you do for this list.

    Good Morning Puzzlers,

I will try a new approach to the problems for a while to see if it works
better. For the next week or so I will send out a problem and wait for some
discussion like Alvin's message this morning. Then I will send the answer
while the problem is still fresh in the mind of those working it. Then I will
send another problem.

Constantly setting up and taking down problems on a board takes too much
time otherwise. And I think this new set of problems will be more difficult to
work leading to more questions and discussion.

Supposedly, being able to solve all 300 of the tactical problems in the
"Win At Chess" book will make you an 1800 chess player. And tactics are the
key to chess improvement for almost all players!
