Hi John,

Good, now if we get three more, you are in the tournament.

I will try twisting arms later this week.

  Hi Lewis,

So far 12 players have signed up making three Divisions. Based on current
ratings, those players would arrange as shown yesterday.

In order to form another Division we need four more players to sign up. If
that happens, the list of players and their Division assignments will be
re-sorted.

In the final arrangement, all players will be grouped with opponents by
rating not order of joining the tournament. But players are accepted as they
join in groups of four players so if only three sign up from now to the end of
the month they will not play.

  Richard,
Are you saying that the upcoming tournament has each division already formed?
So, the player's rating has nothing to do with the formation of the division,
but the order in which they signed up?
  Thank you,
  Lewis

  Hi All,

So far 12 players have signed up for the Spring-summer Theme Tournament based
on the English Opening. Remember the tournament begins April 1 (the first
anniversary of the blind-chess list) and you must sign up prior to March 30.

Players are accepted in groups of four players, but are organized by rating
in each group. Since we have 12 players, we now have three groups and will
need four more players to have another group. Entry is first come, first
served, so don't wait too long.

The current groupings based on who has signed up so far are:
  Division A:
  1. Paul Benson
  2. Rod Macdonald
  3. Stan Lovell
  4. Curtis Cockayne

  Division B:
  1. Lucy Jensen
  2. Mike Gieschen
  3. Edward Zolotarevsky
  4. Richard Dinger

  Division C:
  1. Alvin Blazik
  2. Rebecca Blaevoet
  3. Virginia Alverson
  4. Greg Mason

  Richard
