Hi,
When someone joins the list or ends a game, the challenge issue is already
covered. Unfortunately, it's correspondence games, which means that it may
take a little longer, but that can't be helped, and why should someone jump
past all the other players. Let it sort itself out. There will be gaps in
play for everyone, theoretically.

A. vs Alvin.

If we start changing rules to suit one person then we will not have any
stability to run the ladder tournament as designed. Since this is our first
day of the ladder tournament, I would prefer to wait awhile. Maybe we will
have new people to add and then he will have someone to play. I would
suggest that he plays friendly games until someone is available to play in
the tournament.

Carol
