Hi Alvin,

I will reveal this week's answers next Monday.

As to Uwe noting Black can mate in two, that is more to demonstrate to everyone
that White does not have a run away game and Black could really still win.

I would say you could reveal your answer to Black's solution tomorrow, though.

  Good Morning Puzzlers,

Before I give you today's problem, Uwe noted privately to me yesterday that
in problem 1 if it were Black's move, Black can mate in two moves. Can you
find it?

  Now for today's problem ...

  Problem 2:
  6r1/
  1R4bk/
  2pR3p/
  5p2/
  4p3/
  4B1P1/
  2r1qPKP/
  8

  points 2
  White to mate in one.
