Subject: [blind-chess] Hints for Problem WAC009

  Hi Puzzled Problem Solvers,

For those interested in some hints, read on.

First, Rod has analyzed this problem on Mr. Fritz and Rod tells me any move
other than the correct one leads to an overwhelming advantage for White.

  Now for some hints:
  1. Look for a series of 5 forcing moves with the fifth being mate.

  2. Notice that if the Black Queen could just jump directly to h2 it would be
mate!

Think about this for a while.

  Richard
