Hi Alvin,
The move 1. Rg3 is correct.
But you did not see Black's reply:
1... Bg4 to block the Queen pin.
White will win a Bishop at least though.

Pin Black Pawn to Queen by Bishop on d2 and pin Black Queen to King

2. Nxg3
or

followed by

Queen for a Rook, is that good enough for a best move?
