Probably because someone on one of these lists has a virus. If that's the
case, the virus is harvesting all the email addresses on that computer and
sending itself to them, as well as spoofing those addresses to make it look
like that's where the mail is coming from when it really isn't. Take care.

I am getting spam supposedly from benetech and with email addresses which
have topica in them. Lots and lots of the spam I receive here lately seems
to be bookshare related in address at least. I am not blaming anyone just
pointing out that this has been on a big increase in the past month or so.
