[bksvol-discuss] text and page boundaries?

Are there rules re text and page boundaries? Recently
Gerald posted that one could lengthen the page as
necessary, which I just figured out how to do. Before
that I would shorten side margins and on extremely
rare occasions I moved a sentence to the next page
just to make the page end where it was supposed to.
And I've gone from skipping lines between paragraphs
to indenting to get the text to fit onto the page
properly. Also, I didn't know that any particular font
type or size was preferable, except that people have
said that any font larger than 36 doesn't work with
Braille (or was it Daisy, or both?)
