I think it depends on your email account. I haven't had any trouble with yahoo.com, except that occasionally lately when I click on delete or reply I get a nice interrupting note from yahoo saying that they're having a bit of trouble and to try again. One of my other accounts takes a long time occasionally to open so I give up and go back to it later. I used to have my list mail sent to both yahoo and lycos, so in case one was down so I wouldn't miss anything. I noticed that the mail would reach lycos sometimes a day or two later than yahoo. Now I use inbox.com as a second account. No problems with either yahoo or inbox.
