[bksvol-discuss] Re: settings in Fine Reader

No no, it wasn't Lisa's posting. Some Bookshare people use the scanner
occasionally during the night, and don't return it to its normal settings when
they're done. I know enough to check the scanner settings before I use it, but
this time they changed the OCR settings and didn't return them to the correct
ones for me. When I ran the OCR program, I didn't check the settings
beforehand so that large batch of books last week got messed up. I will
certainly be checking all the settings every time I run the scanner or OCR
program from now on! My bad!

Lisa, it may be that your posting the incorrect settings for Fine
Reader which result in extraneous line feeds and section breaks will
be valuable to others using FineReader. I know some of us are
attempting to figure out what causes extraneous linefeeds to appear
in Fine Reader scans. Thanks for any assistance in the mystery.
