Hi Sharon,
Can you scan in gray-scale? That may allow you to just scan it once and get
it to pick up everything. The header you're describing is pretty standard.
If the header between the numbers is garbled I'd delete it but leave the
numbers. If it's not garbled I'd leave the whole thing.
