I agree Cindy,

Yes, we at times need to stay on topic but, All work and no play makes Katie
a dull girl:)

P.s. Now we have you and Ernie and Katie to entertain
us--and Evan? I can't remember. We need humor and
silliness on here occasionally. smile

Hmmmm, Wasn't gibberish spoken in eastern Europe in
700 AD or so? I thought
I remember reading something about that. You might
do a search on the web
for how to translate it. I met a guy at a bar when I
was in college that
spoke fluent gibberish..:)

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] question on jibberish

I thought that might get your attention. I am
scanning an old paperback
book which contains facsimiles, or pictures of pages
from books. Often,
these pages, because they are pictures, scan very
poorly, in fact, they are
unreadable. I have just been removing the jibberish
characters and putting
a note in the pages that says they are pictures of
hand-written pages.
Should I continue to take out the jibberish
characters and proceed as I am
doing now?

Thanks.
