I haven't seen this before, either but it reminds me of a question I have finished proofing two books and uploaded them. Both times I saw the line that tells you number of errors found and that the words might be dialect of foreign, etc., and then it says, or asks, if the quality rating is o.k. or needs to be changed. I didn't see any quality rating at all. I assumed that the sbmitter had rated the book excellent and there was no need for me to change that, so ˆ just continued with the upload. The books have been accepted and are now in the collection, but what am I missing? Where is the quality rating Cindy Wish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites below Wish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+List Books Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List --- On Mon, 6/29/09, Chela Robles <cdrobles693@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Chela Robles <cdrobles693@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Very Amusing and a Chuckle From Me, Never seen this Before Since last Submission Last Year Since the Site Is New Now To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Monday, June 29, 2009, 12:53 PM Well, I'm on my way to submitting a book and after uploading my book, I was amused by the following just because I've never seen this before, ever before Bookshare site was updated in January, could be very informal, but was a shock to me because again, I've never seen this. Here is what I saw. Quality Analysis list of 3 items • The book you submitted has 88 unique misspelled words, occurring a total of 179 times out of 47,833 total words (proper nouns, acronyms and jargon are counted as misspellings by the spell checker.) • 135 page breaks were detected, and page numbers from 1 to 135 • Out of a total of 48,768 words 0 were marked as "severe" and 12 as "warning" for a percentage of adult content of: 0.025%. Bookshare's analysis indicates that this title does not have to be marked as having adult content. list end Quite informing in an amusing way, Chela PS The book is called Preparation for the Coming of the Lord By Lance Lambert If anyone wants to review it, by all means go ahead, I shall note I was very upset not to find the ISBN so I hope this won't be a problem, it was a great scan taking me an hour to do, just contact me if you have any questions, I'd prefer a sighted person to scan it because the scriptures contained in this book are Shakespearian language.
