Hey Joanie, I have no idea what is going on with the new books page. There's been some trouble in the past with it. I would suggest using the following URL to check out new books. It's using the advanced search feature and needs to run a query on the BookShare database, and will take a while longer to load because it isn't a static page... http://www.bookshare.org/web/BooksByAdvancedSearch.html?titlestring=&authorstring=&sort=4&language=en&quality=0&category%5B%5D=0&operation=submit&submit=Search It will display English books sorted by most recent publication date. You can find some other handy links that use the Advanced Search feature on my website at: http://www.jbrownell.com/bkslinks.html HTH, Jake www.JBrownell.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "CJ Vining" <Vining@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2005 1:03 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] more strangeness > The new books page shows titles which aren't shown there after I log in! > What's going on? > > Also, and this probably has a simpler explanation, but I can't find the Ann > Beattie book that Bud submitted earlier today.
