It says: 1) Replace each "ellipsis character" with 3 periods 2) No spaces before nor after ellipses But if you go to the details of item 2, it says differently from the above. 2) No spaces before nor within ellipses, then gives an example of: Eventually... the cows came home. where it shows no space before the 3 dots but a space after.
