Hi, Rebecca. The only program I know of that will keep your place for you is
Kurzweil, but you have to be editing in the .kes format for it to do that,
so the best thing you can do is to maybe insert some string of characters
you can remember as a bookmark, then delete those characters when you return
to that spot in the book to continue editing. You can choose any string of
characters that will be unlikely to appear in the actual text of the book.
You can use Kurzweil as your editor, even with other formats besides .kes,
but I use Word, so I'll let others talk about that or other options. Take
care.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] good text editor

Hi all. does anyone know of a good text editor? I have ms word but it's an
old version. The home version of xp did not come with word. I would also
like to find a program that you can edit with and if I stop at a certain
point and save the file it will bookmark the place for me so that I won't
have to go to the place where I left off the next time I open the file.
