Yep that's for sure.

"If you go without playing the trumpet for one day, no one knows, two days,
only you know, and more than three days without practicing, girl you better
look out, because everyone will know!"
Today, I find myself constantly saying those words, just to get myself going,
to not give up, and it works. Since I learned to play the trumpet at the tender
age of 10, I have spent so much passion and much diligence with that instrument
that I will not give up on it. Sometimes my instrument puts me into awkward
situations where I feel like they won't ever end, but the trumpet gives me a
lot of hope with the majestic, crystal-clear sound it brings to my ears.

Hi, I look forward to reading the winners of the Bulwer-Lytton contest or the
Darwin awards. I don't know if I'll groan at the writing samples or laugh or
scream. Does it take talent to deliberately write badly, or are the contestants
ever-so-slightly nuts? Some people can write badly without trying hard.
Remember those albums by Jonathan and Darlene Edwards? They were really Jo
Stafford and her husband. She sang beautifully when her name was on the albums
and her husband was an arranger and I bet he was no slouch at the piano. What a
wild sense of humor it takes to deliberately do something badly that you're
good at. Regards, Kim.

  Hi All,

I look forward to the time when we can again see e-mail addresses so that we
can thank people offlist. In the meantime, Thank You to Jamie in Michigan and
Doug, I believe it was, for My Most Embarrassing Moment. I save this book for
the times when I need a quick laugh, and some of them are really funny! What a
wonderful addition to the collection!
