Hi Jill,

This that I'm going to say is going to be of potentially minimal help.
However, often there are settings in one's screen reader settings denoting
how braille should be represented that can change some of this kind of thing
that you mention. The useless part of my statement comes from the fact that
I haven't clue one of how to tell you how to change and experiment with
braille settings. So, if you're more savvy, or experienced, or brave than I
am, you might be able to get fractions and the like to display better by
changing how math symbols are displayed in your braille device. There is
more than one option for displaying such symbols, literary only, or math,
but I don't know how to create such changes. Just that it's possible to
mess about and see what works best.

Sorry to be of little help. I just wanted to say that there may be a fix
that none of us has discovered yet within each of our own personal
technologies.

Mayrie

Mayrie's representation was correct both in speech and in braille. Of
course, I don't like the addition of the dots 4,5,6 before the slash but
then we can't have everything!
