In MS Word, in the find and replace dialog box there is a button that is
labeled "more." If you click this button more options are displayed in the
box. One of those options is a button labeled Format. If you click the
format button it drops down a list which includes font. Clicking the font
item pops up a dialog that includes any text format option you could ever
want, including bold. If your cursor starts in the find box, these format
options are applied to anything you want to find. If your cursor is in the
replace box when you pop up the format dialog, then the options are applied
to anything that is changed. I don't know how to do this in any other
