Vic, the book is English Creek, the first book in a
trilogy set in Montana in the late '30's. Someone, I
think Liz, had read the third book, Ride with Me
Mariah Montana and wanted to have all 3 in bookshare
so she could download and keep them.

It's interesting. Historical fiction teaches me a lot.
I didn't know, for example, thnough I'd heard of the
dust storms and draughts in the Midwest, that there
was a humongous dust storm that crossed from Montana
all the way to the East Coast, into New York and
Washington, D.C.

<I'm in the process of scanning a book that is
<literally falling apart. Some of the pages fell out
<when I checked it out of the library, and more are
<coming loose as I scan and read, though some, I see,
<were out and were scotch-taped together by someone
before me.
