I'm not Sue, but ... Often when folks on this list mention another list for
other topics, they may be referring to the bookshare-discuss list, which is
another freelists mailing list which is Bookshare related, but not focussed
on volunteer topics as this list is intended to do. The bksvol-discuss list
is for discussing volunteering issues. The bookshare-discuss list is for
discussing all things Bookshare, books, and reading technology related.
That is where we try to direct chat more than this list so that folks
looking for volunteering help can find almost only that here.

You can subscribe to that list by sending a message to
bookshare-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx and put the word subscribe in the
subject line. If that doesn't work, you can go to the freelists website and
subscribe there. That list gets much less traffic, but is always of a much
more chatty nature than this one. And folks do love to chat, they just don't
often start chats in that group for some reason.

My brothers and sister have super-common names such as "Bob" so this was a
real doosy for my folks! lol
So I hear there are different lists for different types of conversations. Do
you know what folks mean when they say that? For instance, someone gave me
an answer then said to be sure to also post on the (something) website.
