I must apologize for the confusion. andf was supposed to say
PDF, as I was using a braille keyboard to type. Now, as for the
matter of the security. The PDF file can be opened, but it is
restricted in such a way that it cannot be saved as text or
copied or much of anything. For some reason this makes it
totally inaccessible to JAWS, and unreadable. The Url is here,

I'm not sure what anddf means. Could you explain this? Just
because a
work is free, does not mean that an author doesn't have the right
to
protect his work. If there was a password, and the book was
available as
a free download, you should have been given the password to open.
If it
was protected with a password, and you weren't given the
password,
nobody would be able to read it using accessible technology or
not.
Where is this download located? I can take a look and see what I
find.
