It doesn't matter if there is a break or not.

Thanks, Judy; after the page break, should there be a space between the break and the first line of the next page's text?

Hi Cindy, as long as the page number is on a line by itself, with
nothing else on the line, and is either the first line of text on
a page, or the last line of text on a page, Bookshare's converter
tool will correctly find it. It doesn't matter how many blank
lines occur before or after it, the converter will correctly find
it as long it is the first line of text, or the last line of text
on a page.
No text will be lost from the page if the page number is at the
bottom of the page instead of at the top.

Thanks for the question and answer, Debra and Judy. I'll save it
in my notes for when I need it smile

P.S. I usually move the page number to the upper-left corner but
the book I'm proofing has it on the bottom of the age. I made a
note that the pattern should be text, space, page number, space,
page beak; Should there be another space after the page beak
before next text? If not, will the first line of the text be lost?

Hi
If a book has the Words “Chapter One” on one line and then
below it the name of the chapter e.g. “The Big Adventure”—
Are both the lines of text supposed to be made 16 pt and bold?
Thanks.
