Paula,

You're probably thinking of a thread where Jake, Pratik, and I were talking
about whether or not the HTML files retain the page breaks after the
Bookshare tools process the book for the collection. I don't believe any of
the three of us had seen evidence that the books in the collection have page
breaks. I know I haven't seen any when converting HTML files to RTF. If
this is the case, then cleaning up the HTML files and resubmitting them as
RTF would require adding all of the page breaks back in. I wrote Gustavo
and Janice about the issue earlier this year, but haven't talked to them
since then. I'll try to remember to ask about it the next time I talk to
one of them.

Gerald

Someone had suggested asking to have the book from the collection moved
to the Download page, so whoever wanted to fix it would have an RTF file to
work with. I agree, you wouldn't want the book in its prevalidated form.

. Maybe someone can clarify this, if I'm not remembering correctly, but
I thought it had been determined that page breaks don't come out in the HTML
files.
