You can press the alt key and the letter I together, and that will take
you to the insert menu.
It works in both outlook and outlook express.

In Outlook Express,

I always go to the Insert menu, and then pick File Attachment.

Am curious to find out how you do it.

Can I use this method to find and send attachments in outlook express?
I

fine
but ; then a little while later I can't get afile to attach even if I
am
sending it to the same person.
Thanks lots in advance for any help.

Here's a tip for those having trouble finding or using the browse
button
on the upload page. It's a little involved, but when you are desperate
this
will work.

First, there is a piece of software called pathcopy. You can download
it
free at http://freewarewiki.com/CopyPath
On that webpage you can also get a better description of what pathcopy

does. Essentially, though, you point to a file that you want to upload,
press your applications key, select "pathcopy" then "copy long path" and
hit
enter. This will copy the full path of your file to the clipboard.

Let's assume you've installed pathcopy and you have a book you want to

upload and you've stored it somewhere on your computer.

  1. Find the book using windows explorer or my computer.
  2. Press the applications key which is the third key to the right of
the
spacebar. I'm not sure where it is on a laptop. You can also use a right

mouse click to achieve the same thing.
  3. Arrow down until you read "pathcopy submenu", and press the right
arrow
to open up the submenu.
  4. You are presented with several formats to copy, the selection you
want
is "long path name". Press enter on "long path name". Though nothing
seems
to happen, in actuality, the full path of your book has been copied to
the
clipboard. You are returned to your windows explorer screen.
  5. Using your favorite web browser, log on to the bookshare site and
go to
the upload page and select your book.
  6. Tab to the edit box that should contain the filename and press
control+v to paste the contents of your clipboard into this box. Don't
forget to go into forms mode, or whatever your screen reader requires to

allow you to input data before pressing control+v.
  7. Tab to the upload button and press enter, and wait for the
bookshare
tools to do their job.

Once you get used to it, I think you'll like using this method. I can
get
to the browse button, but feel just as comfortable using this method to
enter a books full path.

  Hope this helps.

  Bob
