Thanks, but neither of those is what I'm thinking of; it wasn't by C.cinxy
S.Lewis; I'll give Swallows & amazons a try; that might be something she or
her sister would like; I think maybe the lids lived on a farm; also that
there may have been an episode in which there was an early airplane or
balloon flight across the channel; I think it as something I proofed;
I'll see if I can find anything in my records; and Iwill try the Pavency
children; maybe I'm wrong about it's no being a C. S. Lewis book; maybe it
is but different from teh books I assoiate with him

Hi all,
Hmmm, The House At Green Noh? the Pavency children in the C.S. Lewis
books were sequestered in the country because of the war.
You might try Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome if she likes
innocent fun, and no point at all to the book. In other words they are
pure fun.
