[bksvol-discuss] Re: Twitter As A Bookshare Tool

As far as I can tell, it takes only a few seconds. I just joined last night
and I think it's really interesting. It is a matter of each day going to a
website and checking the updates of the people you are following. If you
don't want to go to the website, there are several other ways to read
updates. You can have them text messaged to your cell phone, or messaged to
you at your preferred instant message program. That's about all I know just now as I've only
recently joined.

A couple questions about this tool of sorts.
I want to stay active in the Bookshare Community. I don't have the time or
inclination to read a lot of messages on lists. So in a sense I wouldn't
have time to do twitter either? I'm a bit confused as to how much time
twitter would take.

I, too, am a twitterer known as mektastic. Since I really couldn't figure
out a better nickname. lol

is there a way to not have the security dialogue pop up every time I click
on a link on said page?
